Intervertebral Disc
Predisposing conditions leading to Disc Disease

Developmental disorders, structural variations and postural deformities can lead to premature disc disease and related conditions. Predisposing considerations should be recognized and considered in the assessment of patients with spinal pain and during the development of their therapeutic plan. The following is a list of disorders which may increase the risk for developing degenerative disc disease and a related disc syndrome.
